If you want to feel like you've stepped back in time and gone to romantic Paris for an evening, head to Cafe Lavande in LaJolla, CA. Pronto! Hubby Steve and I had dinner there last night (again) and I can't say enough good about this lovely little restaurant. It's located on beautiful Girard Avenue in a "bistro-like" courtyard space with both indoor and outdoor seating. A lovely fountain, quaint decor, soft music, sweet waiters with impeccable manners who give you attentive service with a smile (remember those days?!), and great food at great prices describe Cafe Lavande to a T. The owner even remembers us when we come there and shakes our hand. How dear.Bon
