Dear Blog Friends,
Authors Mark Twain and F. Scott Fitzgerald wrote from bed, and writer Alexandra Stoddard is a master at it. I must say, they're on to something and I do the same as it's a comforting place to "pen" your thoughts whether you do it longhand or by laptop computer like I do. (I couldn't live without my little Sony.) My bed is cozy, comfy, quiet, and serene. It's the place I can best gather my thoughts to put them into saleable articles, and I conduct my phone interviews for my articles from bed too, using a headset and my land line phone. When I don't write from bed, I have a few other favorite places in my home, but my bed is my favorite, hands down.
With those words of writing wisdom, I'll be taking a blog break for awhile to work on my two latest e-books and I'll be announcing some fun things for you soon. 'Til then, I hope you enjoy the tour of the rest of my writing studio.

Be well 'til we meet again.

Dear Kathryn, You have the most beuatiful bed on which to work. I am reminded that the French aristocracy always received guests in their bedrooms and conducted most of their business there! I am so sorry to hear about the 'going on' of your dear kitty, Monique and the sad news about Beau. Losing a pet is heart wrenching but I admire the way you and Steve celebrated her life. My lae husband, a Christian theologian, firmly believed that our pets go to be with the Lord and it often comforts me to think of Richard enjoying heaven with our labbies who have passed on! Thank you Eleanor for your dear comments which were much appreciated. Hope you are doing well in your sweet cottage across the globe. Loved the note about the French aristocracy. They certainly knew how to live! :)
