The Renaissance Women e-mail just keeps coming in! I've chosen some of the really special ones to share with you, and I'd like to introduce you to Linda MacDonald who has her own home staging business, Restyled Home in Nova Scotia. Linda also has a lovely blog at http://www.restyledhome.blogspot.com/, where she gives great tips and photos of practical decorating ideas you can implement in your own home. Linda came to be a RW when she followed her heart to start her business in 2006. She enjoyed my RW article and sent me this dear e-mail about it.
Hi Kathryn,
As an aspiring writer, I see you as a wonderful role model and am so impressed by all of your successes. You spin a tale with flair, and I always end up with a little nugget of your wisdom that I carry with me. Your article about Renaissance Women was very timely as my new business is taking off and I have set the goal of writing each day and I am reveling in the creative process that is required of each.
I certainly don’t possess all of the qualities of a Renaissance Woman (and I doubt any wise, honest woman would lay claim to them all…) but I certainly hope that I operate with humility, creative drive, and kindness to others, as that is what I feel helps define a good, creative woman.
Your article certainly made me look within myself and examine what other attributes I should work on and strive to develop and I can think of quite a few ladies who fit the definition of a Renaissance Woman within the blogging community alone. Again, another great article from a true Renaissance woman!!
