Korakia Bed & Breakfast Inn--Palm Springs, CA

Dear Blog Friends,

Last post I confessed that my hubby and I are Bed & Breakfast Inn junkies and I promised to take you on a tour off and on of some we've stayed in over a twenty year period. Here's an incredible one....Korakia, http://www.korakia.com/ in sunny Palm Springs, CA.

Built in 1924, this Moroccan inspired bed and breakfast inn consists of two historically renowned villas, the Moroccan and the Mediterranean. Korakia has been internationally recognized by the Times of London as one of the top small hotels in the world.

Drink in its incredible beauty....

Korakia is located at the base of the beautiful
San Jacinto Mountains in Palm Springs, CA.

Hubby Steve is getting ready to go up the
winding staircase to our room....

Ah, rest! This room is sweet and simple and
overlooks the magnificent courtyard below,
complete with a fountain and lemon trees.

Beautiful artifacts and statues
stand artfully around the property.

I felt the Moroccan influence of this
this wonderful lantern.

Winding steps charmingly led to
secret gates....

We had breakfast in the beautiful courtyard and
enjoyed the blue striped tablecloth and yellow placemats.

Korakia's sign out front....

I loved the large urns and beautiful
outdoor furnishings all around
the property.

The hound dog in the courtyard welcomed
us in with a friendly face. The entrance
was magnificent!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay
at the incredible Korakia and would recommend
it highly for an enchanting getaway. It
felt like stepping into another world--
a fantasy one!
